Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
Amo— for me, you were the chile pepper in the guacamole, delivering just the right amount of burn, with mutual satisfaction, I think. Thank you for that.

I will very much miss your regal presence and “go-play-with-yourself” attitude.

And no hard feelings about the shredded hand from that one evening, in case you were wondering. Oh, you weren’t? Well, anyway, from one beast to another: it’s all good and understood, amigo.

Stella (paws high) sends her respects.

Long live the great grumpy king ❤️👑

You were a badass punk and also a total momma’s boy. We were two irritable peas in a pod, you and I. We came together when we wanted some companionship and chill time, and we knew when to give each other space. I don’t know if I’m the cat version of you or you’re the human version of me, but we loved each other. You will forever be “the buddiest of the buddies”. Miss you and love you always.

Amo was a beloved and cherished boy. He had the best "cat-itude" always letting you know who was in charge. I loved watching him play or go for his treats but most especially how very much he loved his mommy. His sweet little face will be ever so missed.
