2000 – 2026

I walked into the local garden store and heard "Hello". I thought it was a neighbor, but when I looked for the source, it was a tiny Amazon Parrot. she jumped on my shoulder and I was in love! she was named Diego, but 18 years later, she laid an egg. After 18 years I couldn't change her name much, so I called her Diega. She was my close friend for 25 years, I miss her terribly, I still dream I'm searching for her because I need to feed her and hug her and hold her close.
