As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.

Sweet Ziva, lovingly known as Bandit, had quite a life. She and her two sisters were found in the barn when they were only a few days old, and Barb lovingly bottle-fed and raised all three. From that tiny kitten, she grew into one of Barb’s beloved “critters” and such a sweet girl. A kite will fly for Ziva, as it has for all the critters who came before her, and she’ll rest at home with them, still close to home in the Colorado sunshine. She was so very loved and will be so very missed. ❤️

You are invited to join us the last Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. MT as we remember the lives of pets we have loved and lost. For those who are not able to attend in person, a video recording of each blessing is posted soon thereafter online.
