A Best Friends Angels Rest Pet Memorial from a Friend

Elisavet

2010 – 2026

From Evdoxia, Elisavet's mom:
Elisavet was a loved creature. She was the kind of cat that would turn everyone into a cat person. A sweet and gentle soul, a fluffy marshmallow, a jambon, a little bunbun. She was always just doing her thing and somehow weaved her presence into our lives in a way that now she has left a gap that is hard to conceive. Always ready for a meal, she would let us know about it with her sweet little voice. A loving creature, she would turn on the purring machine the second we made eye contact. Patient and persevering, she would accept all interventions that helped prolong her life and made her comfortable and safe. There is truly no other cat like Elisavet. I can’t believe how lucky we were to have her trust and love us back. She is missed deeply, every second of every day.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
Elisavet was such a sweetheart and would immediately lift the spirits of every single member of her vet hospital. She will be so dearly missed by all of us <3 It was an honor to celebrate her 16th birthday and sing to her <3

Elisavet, you were the gentlest little soul. I’ll miss your sweet voice, your content presence in the windowsill, your weird little shoe fetish, your scoopability, your endless patience for everything except delayed num nums. It was such an honor and a gift to become one of your moms for the second half of your life. It’s hard to remember a time before you and harder to accept a time after you. You always did find your patch of light, and I know you’ve found it now. Enjoy it, little one, and we’ll carry you with us always. I hope you felt as loved as you were and always will be.

Elisavet so precious and dear to our hearts,
Little one who had such a scary start.
She brought so much joy with her sweet loving way,
Wanting to be near us, both night and day.
She will be dearly missed by her two sibs,
Such a surprise the close bond, with Noodle and Midge.
We must let you go Elisavet dear,
But we know in our hearts you will always be near.
