As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.

Howie changed the way I viewed pit bulls. He showed me that beneath the stereotypes was a dog with a heart full of love, kindness, and loyalty. His calm presence, loving nature and gentle ways is a reminder that a dog’s character is not defined by his breed but by his heart full of kindness and loyalty.

He was truly blessed to be part of the Hadnagy-Ford family, and they were equally blessed to have him. His unconditional love, faithful companionship, and gentle soul will be remembered always.
