Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.

P was truly one of a kind. Her gorgeous little face and the colors of her fur. So smart and talented! Whacking each of those little balls/toys that you would throw up and against the wall; I found to be impressive, and expressed this every time. I loved how she would greet me with a meow, jumping up on her chair, doing a somersault! Her little paw and claws always extended out, purring softly; kneading the air...the way she would look into my eyes, as if she saw right into my soul. You were such a great dad to her. She had a wonderful life, and you made sure of that. I can only imagine the pain you're experiencing... my heart aches. I love and miss Peanut very much; and I know that you do too x1000. Embrace all the beautiful memories that you have of her. Her love and spirit is with you, especially during this difficult time. Rest peacefully, P.

You are invited to join us the last Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. MT as we remember the lives of pets we have loved and lost. For those who are not able to attend in person, a video recording of each blessing is posted soon thereafter online.
