Here at Best Friends, animals have such a special place in our lives. We honor those pets we’ve loved and those who need our help today.

Remembrances
Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
Rascal..you were loved for 13 long years..even if your last years meant to share the journeys of your momma on the streets, with barely shelter or protection. You were there in hot summers, cold winters, and rainy days on moms side.So many volunteers of the street outreach of Dogs Day Out AZ loved you and cared for you, making sure you got food for a full belly, booties to walk on the hot pavement, a wagon when your body got tired and so much more.Volunteers were there at the end, when cancer got the best of you, with a soft bed, whispered words and last hugs. You did not have to die on the streets, as the loving volunteers made sure that your end was dignified and without pain at a compassionate veterinary place.Fy high, and have wonderful adventures at the rainbow bridge..In love from everyone at Dogs Day Out AZ…🌈❤️🐾
