Moki

2017 – 2025

Moki was 170 pounds of pure love and Great Dane goofiness. He was family before we met as my cousin had his mom and dad. We picked him up on our youngest son’s birthday, and what a perfect gift he was. He loved ice, rice, drinking from the kitchen sink, playing with his toys, and walking around the neighborhood. He was an extreme counter surfer with a penchant for loaves of bread. Moki always made us smile and gave us so much love and happiness. When his legs got bad and he had a hard time getting up and walking, we had to say goodbye. His beautiful spirit and goofy antics will live on forever in our hearts.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
