Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
Spencer was such a sweet and special boy and I’m hoping Gilly was waiting for him as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I imagine them hanging out together.
He was such a lucky boy to have had both of you.
Sending you hugs.

I will dearly miss Spencer...he was such a bright light spreading joy to everyone he met. He always ran to the door to greet me when I visited his moms and loved jumping up to spread out on the couch every time one of them would get up. I actually think it was a game he liked to play. :)

He was such a great big brother to his sister Charm and I loved to see them both snuggled up together on one of the many dog beds throughout the house.

You will be missed sweet boy. Thank you for letting us all be a part of your wonderful life.

Beautiful boy, if everyone had a “Spencer” in their life the world would be a happier place. You had amazing adventures in your long life and spread joy and laughter to all.
No dog was loved more by their “pawrents” and Charm.

Safe journey home over rainbow bridge where you can run free as a young pupper again . You are loved and missed by all whose lives you touched.

Spencer was truly a gentle giant who made an impression through his constant sweetness and loyal companionship. Known as a “Velcro dog,” he was happiest when he was near his pet parents, always following them from room to room. His rugged spots gave him a distinctive look despite his being a little “lite in the collar;” a gentle spirit that set him apart from other dogs. Evening treats were his highlight, as he always made sure to remind everyone when it was time for dinner and the treats that followed. More than a pet, Spencer was a steadfast companion who filled his home with love and devotion.
