Sweet Boy

This sweet cat was found on the side of the road on the morning of August 20th, 2005. He was dehydrated and very thin. He was taken to the Sevier County Animal Shelter. Though his health was poor, he was very friendly, alert, and seemed to be rallying. His condition quickly worsened and he soon collapsed. I met him briefly in this condition and he affected me a great deal. He was euthanized later that day.

The best guess is that either his family moved away and left him, or he was simply abandoned in the countryside. He was a sweet cat. I wish he had been found earlier. I wish he had been loved enough to never have been left alone. He deserves to be remembered and not be just a stray cat that died. Rest in peace, Sweet Boy.
