Zola
Zola was our little Mama cat. She came from the local shelter and lost her kittens when she was spayed. Although never a actually a mother she kept her motherly instincts and was mama cat to our other three cats and watched over them and us. She had the prettiest meow and would ask for her cat tree to be moved to the back door so she could watch the bird feeders. She always had her tail up and strolled though the house. When is was Churu time she always stood up on her hind legs and did "The Bear". When she played she played with absolute reckless abandon and was a joy to watch. She had her own spot on the bed and slept there every night. She passed suddenly at three or four years old without warning. She was supposed to live for so many more years. We still are shattered that she is gone. She was pure airplane eared sass and unconditional love in a dark tabby suit and the world is not the same without her.
