A Best Friends Angels Rest Pet Memorial

Russell

2017 – 2025

Russell was Ced’s best friend for the past 8 years. I only came into his life a year and a half ago but he was the best step baby I could’ve ever had. His last moments were spent with his dad full of love and hugs. We lost you too soon bubba, but you’ll forever be a part of our hearts & our lives. It makes me smile to think how you are now over the rainbow bridge tormenting your step brother once again while he tries to bite your ankles and you just run him around in circles.

Dear Russell,
I wish I could have held you one more time. I wish I could’ve kissed your face and told you how much I loved you while you were still here. But I hope, with everything in me, that you felt it anyway. That you knew how deeply you were loved. That you were never alone, not for a second. Thank you for loving us. For being our boy. I’ll carry you with me always.
Love, Momma

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
Russel, I remember walking with you, your beautiful playful spirit. I love you and your family loves you, your spirit lives strong. Your impact is great as your love is still transcending, thank you buddy Russel. Run free❤️

Russell was my son’s best friend and he is deeply burrowed in my heart. He was an adored canine companion, full of love and endless kisses. Russell” bear” had a beautiful spirit, forever youthful, he would always curl up on my lap like a puppy. However devastating it is to lose him, I am grateful for all of the love that he has shared and the beautiful memories that will remain. R.I.P. Russy.
