Sara “Panera” JaNeé Thompson Mutoke

2024 – 2025

She was the poet in my heart. She was the best thing to ever happen in my life. I miss your bites and scratches. I love you forever my Sara Bear. I hope you aren’t in pain anymore, and I hope you knew how much I loved you. I miss you my sweet girl.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
I only got to meet you twice, but you left a big impression. You had the most beautiful coat of fur that was so soft. I’m so sorry I won’t get to play with you again. Sweet dreams, Sara💗

She always had such a fiery personality and was affectionate when she would tolerate it. She loved it when you acted like you couldn’t tell she was stalking you, before she would pounce at your arm playfully, sometimes biting (I know it was out of love and being a spitfire). I will miss the way she obsessed over my shoes whenever I came over to visit, and how she always hoped I’d give her a bite of my food. She will be eternally missed by all those who knew and loved her.
