A Best Friends Angels Rest Pet Memorial

Pete Nanes

2010 – 2025

My Sweet Pete, “My Teeny Ween” was my constant, my buddy, my loyal companion, rarely left my side for almost 15 years. He loved his blankets, special treats & Greenies, his treat puzzle, his balls & mini frisbee (when he was younger), his many stuffed Lambchops & all of his toys (ripping the stuffins out and killing the squeakers), the walks, even in his stroller, watching out the front window, sitting/lounging in the sun, road trips, family visits, and to snuggle and give good, long hugs. HE SURE LOVED THE KIDS! But Petey was so special and attuned to my heart and soul, as I was his. He just knew. And he was always happy and still wagged his tail even when he started to age and begin to suffer. What an example! Pete, what a thought and a hope, you with our other pet & family members who’ve gone on into the presence of God. I know you’re in the best hands and in the care of The Good Shepherd now. I’m so looking forward to that time when we’re together and even when He will make all things new again. Until then, I love and I miss you so very much and you’re right here in my heart, till then…My Lil Petey Boy. Xo

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
