Lily

2016 – 2025

My Lily was a small dog with a big heart.
She came from the streets and was scared a lot. She was my little rescue doggie. And she rescued me.
There’s nothing to be scared of now, my little one.
Lily loved her naps in one of her many beds around our house.
She loved making mealtime a game.
She loved tummy tickles and belly rubs and butt scratches.
She loved her cookies and would make sure you knew when she wanted one. She’d stomp her tiny feet and give a gentle bark.
She loved giving us kisses on our lips. They were so sweet.
She was so filled with love for me, her Daddy, and her adoring Grandma and Grandpa and little brother Crosby.
My world, our world, will never be the same without my little little woo woo.
Daddy will see you some day on the Rainbow Bridge.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
