A Best Friends Angels Rest Pet Memorial

Al

2010 – 2025

Al was adopted from Best Friends Sanctuary when I did an internship in 2017. We couldn’t have got a more loving dog. He was the best dog - so cute, funny and happy. We loved him so much and will miss him forever.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
I only ever hung out with Al a few times before I moved away but that’s all you needed to love Al! Such a sweet happy boy. Sending you lots of love, Josie and Rob!

I had the great fortune to spend a week with Al when visiting Best Friends. I was on a solo trip and he was my sleepover pup every night. He was one of the best dogs I ever met. Grateful to Josie to have given him years of love and devotion. Rest in peace sweet boy. Your spirit will live on.

Al was such a sweet dog and I always enjoyed spending time with him. He was loving, sweet and chill… he just liked to hang out with us. I will miss his cute face and wagging tail. Rest in peace, Sweetheart. You are an Angel in Heaven.
