Here at Best Friends, animals have such a special place in our lives. We honor those pets we’ve loved and those who need our help today. At Best Friends, we keep pets in our hearts

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
Kevin was a sweet little guy, who brought a lot of love and joy to his owners. He will be missed.

We adopted Kevin at a Black Friday event ten years ago. He was hiding in a cabinet, on top of another cat, and came out to meet and be held by us. The volunteer remarked, "This is the first time he's come out on his own." We knew it was meant to be. We'll miss his quacky meows, how he'd run in circles when playing, and his never ending need to be cuddled.

Heart
Kevin was the sweetest little guy you would ever meet. He went through some trauma before he found the perfect home. He loved his family; his mama, his papa, and his little brother kitten that quickly grew much bigger than him. He was shy around strangers, but always gentle. He is sorely missed and will be loved forever.
