Jaida

2009 – 2024

Jaida enjoyed early morning, solar noon, and early evening walks. She chased tennis balls, bubbles, and butterflies. Jaida liked frozen yogurt dog treats and cat naps. She didn't like the dark or to be left alone, so we made sure Jaida was safe inside with us, her feline friend, and her stuffed hedgehog before the sun went down. Our sweet baby girl will live in our hearts forever.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
Thank you Erin for letting me know about precious Jaida. When I remember my years at CareMeridian I think of Jaida and Moorea as special therapy to not only the residents but to ME! She brought such joy to all. Her easy going spirit made everyone her friend. So thankful she was blessed with a wonderful family who loved her and in return she gave love to all.

I can’t think of a dog having a better life than what you offered her - no being left with strangers or alone - she always was there with you and you loved her and treated her well. In fact if there is reincarnation, I’d like to come back as one of your pets!! So I guess there’s a little comfort in knowing you gave her everything she ever wanted.

Baja Animal Sanctuary named the 5-month-old puppy JAIDA. We called our adopted rescue JAIDAKINS. Poway Animal Hospital veterinary staff nicknamed the 29-pound Lab/Hound’s BABY GIRL. Our pet sitter christened her JAIDA MARIE. Love on a Leash pet therapy patients said she had VELVET EARS. We miss you MISS JAIDA.

Jaida was so patient whenever Moorea-the-cat shared LOAL pet-therapy visits at CareMeridian. And then we bring another therapy cat! So many precious memories of Jaida’s visits with the residents and staff.
You and Dave gave many years of love and fun to Jaida. You are in our prayers as you journey through grief.
