A Best Friends Angels Rest Pet Memorial

Pia

2006 – 2024

Our precious Pia. Even as your little body became frail and you fought multiple health issues, getting up on the bathroom sink for brushes and a drink were still your top priority. Your last day was spent on the screen porch watching the leaves blowing in the warm breeze. We have 18 years and 6 months of memories of you – zoomies through the house and onto the furniture, coaching us during our workouts, keeping your dad warm at night with snuggles, and hours of cuddles and naps on mommy’s lap. The house feels empty without you. We love you so very much and miss you even more. Mommy and Daddy.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
