A Best Friends Angels Rest Pet Memorial

Midna

2008 – 2024

She was the sweetest, most gentle soul I ever met. She loved me and I loved her. I will miss her forever. But I have such happy memories of her as well. She loved the outdoors, she loved everyone she ever met, people and animals. When she was young she used to walk into the neighbors houses and relax or eat the dog food they left out.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
Yes, Midna was "arrested" twice for straying into some uptight neighbor's yard. Fortunately, she had a collar and tag. We has to "pay bail" to spring her out because she wasn't up-to-date on her rabies shots, or we couldn't prove she was. She was a little scamp that way. I imagine she sat patiently and happily in someone's garage until animal control picked her up. And she probably went with them purring the whole time.

love heart
Midna! Our sweet girl, and partner in crime to Moki. Thank you for all the many years of comfort and companionship. I will miss your aggressive snuggles and your bone-rumbling purrs that went with them. You'll always be with us in our hearts.

Heart
Midna was the adventure cat. One time she trekked all the way across town to get back home when someone took her for cat sitting, and frequently got in trouble with the law for wandering far and wide exploring the neighborhood.
