Aislinn was my best friend for 13 years. She's been with me through multiple homes, multiple fosters, joys and losses, difficulties and triumphs. I will always remember the way she dug her head into my hand for pets, the way she loved chasing squirrels, and the way her snoring warmed my heart. I love her so much and hope you are at peace and at rest.

I will always remember when Sparrow took you home.

She thought about you for days after meeting you for the first time, and I could tell that she had fallen in love with you instantly. She had called herself selfish in that moment.

How could she not have been selfish for you and your love? How could she have ignored your sweet face and demeanor? No one could have, and you have brought all your love to so many people. I fell in love with you, too.

I will miss you. I will miss hearing your barks on the mic, the happy whine you made when you saw me after long months, your round butt cuddles, your vying for the best pillow (usually the pillow i had just been using). My heart is shattered from your loss, and I will miss you so much.

You are invited to join us the last Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. MT as we remember the lives of pets we have loved and lost. For those who are not able to attend in person, a video recording of each blessing is posted soon thereafter online.
