A Best Friends Angels Rest Pet Memorial

Purr

2006 – 2023

Purr was my buddy boy from the time I adopted him from a shelter in 2006. We had a soul connection. Despite his bulk, he was a cuddle bug who wanted nothing more than to be held against my chest. Well, and to be fed. Purr, you helped me through some bad times, and I’m so glad I was able to help you through your last year or so. You were and are so dear to me. Your memory will live on as long as I do, and then I pray we’ll be reunited again. Love you, buddy. No longer by my side, but always in my heart.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
