Simba

2011 – 2024

There is so much to tell about my Simbalicious (one of his very nicknames.) He was a very special, funny, smart, adogable, loving, gentle fur baby. He loved his brother Rambo and protected him, snuggled with him and loved playing laser light and bubbles with Rambo. Simba loved getting massages and would hog all my petting away from Rambo. I love my conversations with Simba, he had a funny way of rambling on in such an adorable way. He LOVED special time with his brother and his mommy (me) while watching TV and LOVED his blueberry "candies". Sometimes he would look up and his front paw would lift also like his paw was attached by a string to his head, it was so cute. Sometimes he would stand and his front paw would turn a little to the side and forward, like he was striking a pose, so adogable. He loved play fighting with his brother and meals together were side by side like two peas in a pod. When we would walk around the block Simba would many times walk on the curb, not the street, not the sidewalk and not the grass, but the narrow curb and he did it with such ease! He was so funny.. He had a personality that compared to no other, so many quirks and was so loving. His nicknames were Simbaloo, Simbasquishy, chunky butt, Simbalicious, Simbalishy and other adoring names. I rescued the two of them at 8 weeks old and from that moment on he and his brother have brought such joy to my life. My (and Rambo's) hearts are TERRIBLY broken losing him prematurely to cancer, I will never forget him and will miss and love him ALWAYS. 💔🐾💙

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
