Elsa,
Our sweet beloved little angel, you came to our lives 14 years ago. Although we had mostly happy times together, I can only feel pain now. I miss your body not sleeping with me and the kisses you woke me up with in the morning. I miss sharing my meat with you at mealtimes. Your paw prints will remain on my heart forever. Having to take you to your “last vet visit” was the hardest thing we ever had to do in our lives, but we couldn’t watch you suffer. As your heart stopped while in your daddy’s arms, you slipped away from us quietly. When we drove home, already in tears, the big bright rainbow appeared in the skies…just for you to cross over. We both miss you greatly, we will never stop loving you!
