I worked at Best Friends for a week in Aug 2011. Kobar chose me from the minute we saw each other. His name was originally Escobar and was well cared-for at Best Friends. Kobar joined our pack and loved our two other rescues, Maddie and Ryan. All three filled our lives with purpose, with joy, and with so much love. Kobar was the light of our lives. He was a happy, curious, fun-loving and loving kid. He gave us so much love. We miss his beautiful spirit every day. Kobar, thank you for being in our lives. We love you

It all began with two lifelong friends who took a trip to Utah and came back with a buddy they called kobar. The dude joined in with the Wagner family and became the energy and silliness of the group. Can you imagine being orphaned then finding a home with two loving humans and two other dogs to live with. He dove right in and took advantage of his loving home. Now I know this is different from other shelter dogs but he knew his place in the pack right away. Maybe because the humans knew that kobar needed lots of love and he got it anytime he wanted it. Kobar you will never be forgotten
