G-man

2024

Gentleman G has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. He hailed from Catawba County, NC and was whisked out of a kill shelter there by Southcoast Rescue to the Pat Brody Shelter (no kill) in Lunenburg MA. He captured me at the first head butt. Always a lover and not a fighter he never met a human, cat, meatball, or slice of turkey he didn't like. He was a southern gentleman through and through. It has been my greatest honor and blessing to be his mom for the last 10+ years. Will Rogers once said "If there are no dogs in heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went." Same goes for me and cats. G was king of the house and king of my heart and I shall miss him every day. Until we meet again, my liege.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
