Jingle

2013 – 2021

Jingle was the most courageous and resilient dog I've ever known. Rescued from a life of dogfighting, full of wounds and scars, Jingle fought to become the gentle, loving dog he was famous for. He loved everyone, every cat, and almost every dog. He almost gained his Canine Good Citizen award and definitely became a Pitbull Ambassadog.

Although he's not with us physically anymore, he lives on in the books I wrote about him - Jingle, All the Way Home; Jingle's Bench; and not published yet Jingle, Pitbull Ambassadog.

I thank Best Friends for their work with Michael Vick's dogs. I truly believe they opened the door for Jingle to be a part of our lives.

You are invited to join us the last Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. MT as we remember the lives of pets we have loved and lost. For those who are not able to attend in person, a video recording of each blessing is posted soon thereafter online.
