Lenny

2006 – 2023

We adopted Lenny at 8 weeks old.
He was the cutest little man. His ears grew faster than he did.
Lenny trained us to feed him on time. Buy his favorite food.
He only liked one type of catnip and always needed fresh wheat grass for his stomach.
Lenny grew into a big boy. He was 23 lbs and 3 ft long when he stretched out. As Lenny got older he slept more, didn’t want to play as much but still loved us unconditionally. My husband Ken always said when he needed to smile all he had to do is look at Lenny.
Lenny loved face scratches and to be brushed. We brushed him at least 10 times a day on some days. We gave him love and the best life we could.
We’ll miss him terribly and will never forget him.
Lenny crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 12/1/2023 at 17 yrs old.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
