A Best Friends Angels Rest Pet Memorial

Zipper

2008 – 2023

Zipper was my best little buddy.
He was unique, funny, and loved me in a way I've never been- unconditionally. He was always there for me when I needed him.

I found him when he was barely a year and already on his 3rd home; his latest owner was going to take him to the pound because he was a "spaz" and couldn't handle him. When I brought him home, I knew he was special. He breathed life into his fur brother diagnosed with CHF, and helped him live another 10 years! His previous names Dex, Miller, Spaz were not fitting for such a special boy - and I promised him we would be his last home. I fought with my husband almost daily to keep that promise, but he stayed and I am so grateful he did.

My little Crazy-face, Creepy, Buddy - thank you for all you did for Scooter and me. I love you, and miss you and your crazy antics so much. 14 years together was not enough time for me, but I know you are perfect again and are running free and standing on tables in Heaven. Until I see you again, Rest in peace my sweet Angel.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
