A Best Friends Angels Rest Pet Memorial

Bella

2019

I got Bella at 4 1/2 months old and 15 yrs 3 1/2 months later it was time to say goodbye. From her imp-ish puppy days when she would pull on my clothes as I was trying to get dressed or run away with my socks to her old age when I had to help her up the front steps, she was a joy to me and others. She went on vacation with me several times and kayaked on Lake Erie, the Allegheny River and other smaller lakes. People that met her often mentioned what a happy or sweet dog she was (and my heart swelled with pride). I will miss her but I also am so blessed that she was my dog for so many years and left so many happy memories.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
