Einstein
Einie:
You were already an old man when you came to live with me. You only had one eye (and that eye was blind), you were cranky, snaggle-toothed and unneutered. But I remember how you could hoist your little body up onto the bed, climb up my back and stick your stinky face into mine, licking my face frantically to wake me up.
Nothing made you happier than going outside for a walk or getting a treat of any kind. Even though you couldn't see, you would bark at strangers to "protect" me. I wish I could have known what you looked like as a pup, where you came from, why you ended up as a stray in the middle of the road.
You brought me so much joy and you remain part of my essence. I miss you every day.
Thank you,
