2010 – 2026

Here is our love, Luna, that left us in June. She fought every ailment that came her way…allergies, cancer (a tumor in a tumor…first time the vets saw that) which included surgery, IV chemo and oral chemo, diabetes (2 shots per day), going blind from diabetes, going deaf, bad teeth, etc. She beat everything to stick with us as long as possible, but this last one she couldn’t fight (possible brain ailments…cancer or tumor). It came on quick and after 2.5 days of suffering while trying to figure out what it was and how to treat it, it was evident that it wasn’t treatable and we/I couldn’t let her suffer any longer. She was feisty…not a big fan of ppl outside the family or other dogs, but she more than made up for it with the love she showed the family. And, boy, she was loved beyond belief.

I truly believe she fought to stay with us for 16.5 years, not because she needed us, but because we/I needed her. And we still need her, but she fought the good fight and it was time to let her rest.

You are invited to join us the last Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. MT as we remember the lives of pets we have loved and lost. For those who are not able to attend in person, a video recording of each blessing is posted soon thereafter online.
