As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.

Sweet Reilly, what a beautiful life you lived, and what an extraordinary love you leave behind. You were never simply Jackie and Mark’s dog. You were their family, their beloved boy, their joy, their comfort, and a piece of their hearts walking beside them on four golden paws.

There is something so pure about the love we share with our dogs. They ask for so little and somehow give us everything—their trust, their loyalty, their laughter, their companionship, and every beat of their beautiful hearts. And when they leave us, the silence they leave behind can feel impossibly large.

Jackie and Mark, I hope in time the heartbreak of losing Reilly is softened by the knowledge that he knew, every single day of his life, that he was deeply and completely loved. What greater gift could we ever give the animals entrusted to our hearts?

Run free, beautiful Reilly. May there be sunshine on your golden fur, soft grass beneath your paws, and wonderful adventures waiting just beyond where we can see. You were cherished beyond measure in this life, and you will be loved and remembered always. 🌈🐾💛

You are invited to join us the last Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. MT as we remember the lives of pets we have loved and lost. For those who are not able to attend in person, a video recording of each blessing is posted soon thereafter online.
