Simon

2024 – 2026

Simon was the king of my home. So spoiled rotten. Whenever he loved he purred and made biscuits and let me rub his tummy and least once a day. He used to sit on my lap while watching tv. I’m so sorry I had to call animal control because he was trying to bite me to death. In instacare they treated 25 to 30 bites. Blood all over. All because he was jealous of the feral kitty outside. Then because I wouldn’t feed him before I ate my meal. They have to quarantine him for 10 days to make sure he doesn’t have rabies. Then they will euthanize him. I am crazy missing that sweet side of him. He almost bit 3 of my arteries. Really close to them. I look like a mummy with bandages on both arms and both legs. I won’t miss that horrible side of him, but I can’t sleep when I worry about him killing me at night when I am asleep. I have tons of pictures and videos of his sweet side. I will keep that part of him forever in my heart.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
