A Best Friends Angels Rest Pet Memorial

Spencer

2009 – 2026

Spencer, you came into my life as a tiny, one-pound kitten who ran over, put your paws on my leg, and chose me. I was just going to foster you, but fell in love instead. Thank you for sixteen wonderful years of unconditional love, quiet companionship, gentle purrs, and unwavering devotion. You were the sweetest, most faithful, and loving companion I could have ever hoped for. You filled my life with so much joy, and I will always be grateful that out of everyone in the world, you chose me. My heart is broken without you, and my life will never be the same. I miss your sweet face, your comforting presence, and all the little moments we shared. Sixteen years could never have been enough. Thank you, my precious boy, for every moment, every memory, and every ounce of love. Loving you was one of the greatest blessings of my life, and I will carry you in my heart for the rest of mine.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
