Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.

Thank you, Luke, for being the heart and fearless leader of the Margiotta pack. Thank you for your spunky spirit, your endless sense of adventure, and the fierce love you gave so freely. You taught everyone around you about loyalty, resilience, patience, and unconditional love.

You healed their hearts, especially Jaime’s, when they needed it most after the loss of Jack, and you stood faithfully by Jaime’s side as her shadow through every season of life. The love you had for Michael, the boys, and your whole family was impossible to measure.

The house may feel quieter now, but your presence will always remain in the memories, the stories, the adventures, and the love you left behind. We know you crossed the Rainbow Bridge surrounded by those who went before you — probably already off on a lizard hunt and finding the best river to float.

Run free, sweet boy. Thank you for loving your family so well. You will always be missed, loved and remembered.

You are invited to join us the last Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. MT as we remember the lives of pets we have loved and lost. For those who are not able to attend in person, a video recording of each blessing is posted soon thereafter online.
