A Best Friends Angels Rest Pet Memorial

Cheveyo (aka Jargon from the Gossip Litter 2012)

2012 – 2026

From the moment I saw him, I knew we had met before. His old soul called me right out of the kanab quarantine section. Have you ever met an angel? This boy was it. His worst crime...what's that? He was an amazing pack dog. A great loner as well. Self sufficient yet sweet and always kind to all animals he encountered. Watching him function around horses made me certain he had reincarnated from a lifetime with them. A great pacifist. The best adventure boy a girl could ever ask for. His heal command was self taught to be my shadow. Loyalty was his baseline. You'd think a Harrier Hound mix would want to bail at every opportunity. Not him. Not a velcro dog...more of a trust but verify dog. His departure saddens me but I am certain our souls will meet again. We are nothing more than an atom that was separated in this lifetime but we will be one again. Cheers to the very bestest boy this earth has ever known. It was honor to be your human. Run free and painless my sweet Captain Chilly Bean ;-)

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
