A Best Friends Angels Rest Pet Memorial

Bochy

2011 – 2025

Bochy,
We knew you would be the toughest challenge of the twelve seniors we have adopted over the years. Your small body was suffering the effects of heartworms along with problems resulting from never being neutered; a perineal hernia and possible cancer. The plan was to take care of the hernia and neuter first but the heartworn load was too much. A month of doxy followed by the first heartworm shot and you were doing well. A month later with the two follow up shots and we seemed to be headed in the right direction. Then one Sunday night a week or so later, you had dinner, a snack and a short, short walk and went to sleep for the last time.
We can only hope it was peaceful and that the three months and three days you spent with us were the best they could be.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
