A long time ago, I found a little black kitten in my backyard. Tia named you for your green eyes. I didn’t know it back then but finding this treasure gave me 18 years of love, laughter and companionship. I loved seeing you change as you grew older.. from that cute kitten face, a too chunky adult to a wizened skinny senior. I loved it all. Thank you, my precious girl. Esmeralda, your mama loves you… and misses you. Forever. Hasta luego, mi amor.

You are invited to join us the last Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. MT as we remember the lives of pets we have loved and lost. For those who are not able to attend in person, a video recording of each blessing is posted soon thereafter online.
