A Best Friends Angels Rest Pet Memorial

O.B.

2008 – 2025

O.B. found us in January of 2009. She was very spirited and always her own doggie. In spite (or maybe because) of that she was a loving little girl and she was also our first adoption. She didn't initially seem too thrilled with the adoption of her brother (saved from euthanasia by a day) but she grew to accept him and they played regularly and there were very few territorial spats. My favorite assessment of her personality came from our vet Dr. Kevin McKevilly who once called her "a pretty angsty lady". She was chronically ill her last six months so we're comforted by the idea that she now is no longer in pain. We miss her and her brother Buddy Boy every day but they live on strong in our hearts.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
