A Best Friends Angels Rest Pet Memorial from a Friend

Marcus

2006 – 2025

As Marcus had been abused during the early years of his life, it took time for him to adjust to his rescue home, which included a canine pal named Murphy Brown. Once he settled in, Marcus clearly began to relish the safety of his new surroundings (he particularly enjoyed lounging by the fireplace during the cold northeast winter months) and the affection of his family who feel privileged to have shared many, many years with him. Although Marcus is missed terribly each and every day, his family has begun to smile at the thought of him and to appreciate that he enriched their lives as much as they did his.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
