A Best Friends Angels Rest Pet Memorial

Scarlet

2010 – 2025

Scarlet, despite being disabled herself, taught herself to be a seeing eye dog for her best friend Graycie - who was severely traumatized from a hoarding situation and landed in our arms. They were Best Friends Forever and they are now together, over the rainbow bridge. Scarlet, a 6 pound toy poodle, was fierce and fearless and never let her legs, multiple surgeries, a cardiac arrest, months of physical therapy and more stop her from being the defender of the house and the love of our lives. I miss her so much.

Remembrances

Leaving a personal story, memory, or words of support for a pet’s family is a heartfelt way to pay tribute and provide comfort. As part of your remembrance, we also invite you to leave a virtual token along with your words — similar to our tradition here at the Sanctuary of leaving stones, beloved items, or small toys on the graves of cherished animals.
