2011 – 2024

Buster is such a special soul, that will forever live on in my heart. The beautiful bond we had was and is so strong that it will never ever be broken. Our connection was once in a lifetime and it will survive anything. Not having him physically here with me is one of the deepest pains I've ever experienced, what comes with having such a deep love. He was my absolute everything, not just by my side, but a part of every significant moment. In my darkest times, he kept me breathing, he was my reason to fight through. I knew he needed me and I couldn't bear to leave him. He was there for my most meaningful moments; we made a difference together. With every pursuit, he helped me heal. At first it was just getting out of bed, and then transformed into therapy dog work and publishing a book series. Not only did he save my life, he gave me a life. He was the center of my world and I built a life around that.

Thank you for always choosing me my baby boy, and with all your unconditional love, teaching me how to choose and love myself. I will not stop talking about you. I will not stop writing books about you. You are my forever buddy. We will continue to do this together, for I simply don't make sense without you. It's me and you, until the end.

Best Friends Animal Society was a part of our story, their Strut your Mutt walk being an annual tradition of ours. All donations made to this page will go to this wonderful organization and help in their lifesaving work. I invite you to share memories and photos on this page as well.

Christina~ What a privilege it has been for me to be part of your journey with sweet Buster! ❤️ He had the most incredible spirit that will live on forever in the hearts and memories of anyone that had the pleasure of meeting him! ( whether it was in person or through his story books) Thank you for gifting me with Buster and the Brain Bully and then Brain Booster books! I have shared them with many children who have learned some valuable life lessons and coping skills brought to them in a friendly way! Bringing mental health awareness to the forefront is such an important task that requires courage and inner strength! I loved all of the pics you would send me and especially looked forward to the turkey cakes every year as well as every Santa pic! It was so special to be honored by you and Buster this past October in the American Cancer 30 mile dog walk fundraiser! 💞🐾Thank you for sharing him with us!!!!!
