In everlasting memory of Simba, the most beautiful, loving and playful dog.

Simba was born in Kansas on 3/1/09.

He moved to Washington Heights, NY when he was about 6 months old, where Vanessa found him. Simba was always a playful and loving Pekingese. He loved to go on long walks, go on adventures, take rides on the boardwalk in his stroller, run around the beach, and play with his friends. He was sweet, friendly, smart, and handsome. Everyone would stop and stare at his happy little strut as he walked down the street.

He was a truly special dog and will be missed, along with his adopted older brother Sharkey.

Simba was an extraordinary dog. He loved Vanessa unconditionally and couldn't be happier. In his face was pure joy and love and he shared it Sharkey. The two were adorable together. Bentley will miss Simba visiting and following him everywhere. Good boy Simba.

Report Remembrance

When I first met Simba ,Sharkey was right there. Vanessa handed Simba to me and he was 2 months and so fragile. I remember the feel his ribs and stating they are like toothpicks. Seems like yesterday.
Than to watch both my Grandpups bonding over the weeks and months,til they were true bookends. keeping with their Pekingnese inherited traits , they would sit next to each other but face opposite directions. They were protecting Vanessa and home against any intruders. I enjoyed that so much. They were brothers by design and formed such a brotherly relationship. Did they fight, Absolutely like brothers. Cain n Abel at times.
They were Loyal as all can be and protected their Queen.
Prince Simba was admired, loved and respected by all who had chance to know him
I miss you grandpup and think of you every day.
Keep over your watchful ways !!

Ps. Just last week i received Simba s grandpa birthday card . By the time I received in Florida he had passed on. It sits proudly and lovingly next to my bed.

So sad Simba is no longer with us. But he is back with his BFF Sharkey! And out of pain. I will always remember Simba and how much he LOVED his stroller and walks on the beach just like his mommy. He will always be missed and will be watching over his baby brother when his mommy has him.
